You have Found a Juvenile!
Your bird was found on the ground or in a bush or tree. Has a complete set of feathers, but these may not be the bright colors of an adult.
Juvenile birds usually do not sit on the ground or in one position for long periods of time. If you can approach and even touch a juvenile bird, it is likely that this bird is injured or sick.
Please make a note if the bird is:
– on its side
– has a droopy wing
– has struck a window
– any other visible anomalies.
